Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Arrival in Tbilisi during the daytime or early morning next day. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Tbilisi
Tbilisi Sightseeing tour: historic part of Tbilisi is located at the foot of Narikala Fortress. It charms visitors with its romantic, narrow streets, beautiful facades and picturesque sites next to each other, including Metekhi Church, Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral, Bridge of Peace, Anchiskhati Church and famous sulphur bathhouses. Its modern part is no less impressive, especially Rustaveli Avenue with its exquisite, 19th century architecture. Free time. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Stepantsminda (160 km)
Today you have to leave the capital’s glamour and explore various, exciting, picturesque parts of Georgia. Drive to visit the old capital of Georgia - Mtskheta (UNESCO Word Heritage). Christianity in Georgia started from this town in 4th century. If you visit Jvari Monastery at the top of a high cliff, you can have a splendid panoramic view of how two rivers, Aragvi and Mtkvari join each other, as well as the great view on Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), spiritual centre of the country. Driving along the Georgian Military Highway. Visit Ananuri Fortress overlooking Jinvali water reservoir and continue to drive to Stepantsminda. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Stepantsminda.
Day 4: Stepantsminda – Gergeti – Stepantsminda (30 km)
Amazing morning views of snowy Kazbegi peak (5047m), with St. Trinity Gergeti Church on the background. One can get to the church walking along the popular path. After descent you enter Dariali Gorge. Optional trekking tour to Gveleti Waterfall. Free time. Overnight in Stepantsminda.
Up&down 470 m, trekking 3,5 hrs.
Day 5: Stepantsminda – Sno Valley – Gudauri (100 km)
Arrival in the Village of Juta, which in winter season is taken away from modern civilization. Walking through the Village and, then, along alpine fields towards Chaukhebi Glaciers (2550m). Arrival in Gudauri. Overnight in Gudauri.
Up&down 400 m, trekking 4,5 hrs.
Day 6: Gudauri – Khada Valley – Tbilisi (85 km)
Trekking along Khada Valley through alpine fields and forest paths down the mountain slopes. Arrival in Mleta and return to Tbilisi.
Up 100 m, down 1300 m, trekking 5 hrs.
Day 7: Tbilisi – David Gareja – Tbilisi (200 km)
A tour to David Gareja in south-eastern part of Georgia. It is a semi-desert due to the lack of vegetation. It is inhabited with a big variety of rare species of birds. The Monastery, built in 6th century by Assyrian monk, David, is hidden behind the hills. You should take a walk on the slope of the hill to see the most beautiful part of the Complex and its wall paintings from 8-9th centuries. From the top one can see Azerbaijan border. Drive back to Tbilisi and have a wine-tasting. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport.
