Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Day 2: Tbilisi
Arrival in Tbilisi previous evening or early morning. Transfer to hotel. Tbilisi Sightseeing tour: historic part of Tbilisi is located at the foot of Narikala Fortress. It charms visitors with its romantic, narrow streets, beautiful facades and picturesque sites next to each other, including Metekhi Church, Synagogue, Sioni Cathedral, Bridge of Peace, Anchiskhati Church and famous sulphur bathhouses. Its modern part is no less impressive, especially Rustaveli Avenue with its exquisite, 19th century architecture. Free time. Dinner in a traditional Georgian restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi – David Gareja – Tbilisi (200 km)
A tour to David Gareja in south-eastern part of Georgia. It is a semi-desert due to the lack of vegetation. It is inhabited with a big variety of rare species of birds. The Monastery, built in 6th century by Assyrian monk, David, is hidden behind the hills. You should take a walk on the slope of the hill to see the most beautiful part of the Complex and its wall paintings from 8-9th centuries. From the top one can see Azerbaijan border. Drive back to Tbilisi and have a wine-tasting. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Kutaisi (240 km)
Today you have to leave the capital and explore various, exciting, picturesque parts of Georgia. Drive to visit the old capital of Georgia - Mtskheta (UNESCO Word Heritage). Christianity in Georgia started from this town in 4th century. If you visit Jvari Monastery at the top of a high cliff, you can have a splendid panoramic view of how two rivers, Aragvi and Mtkvari join each other, as well as the great view on Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), spiritual centre of the country. Continue to drive to Western part of Geoergia to the town of Kutaisi. Visit Promethe's karst cave. The stunning shapes of its stalactites and stalagmites make you wonder of nature's creative abilities. Dinner and overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 5: Kutaisi – Mestia (255 km)
Drive to the high mountains of Svaneti. Svaneti is out of this world! Time doesn’t exist here. Snowy mountain peaks and guard towers come from the very depth of history. The Svans speak their own language and have lived according to their unwritten, ritualized lifestyle and customs for centuries. Upon arrival visit History museum of Mestia and take a cable car to the mount Zuruldi. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Mestia.
Day 6: Mestia – Adishi (10 km)
Today you start 3 day-long trekking in high mountains, along valleys and alpine fields, staying in local families at night. Minimum comfort is compensated for the warm hospitality and delicious meals of host family. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Adishi.
Up 850 m, down 410 m, trekking 5 hrs.
Day 7: Adishi – Iprali
On the way to Iprali, you will cross the river on horses. The night in Iprali.
Up 650 m, down 800, trekking 6 hrs.
Day 8: Iprali – Ushguli
Trekking to the highest settlement in Europe-Ushguli, UNESCO World Heritage. Ushguli is never forgotten. Passing along the highest glacier, Shkhara (5068m), at the very northern borders of Georgia. In Ushguli stands medieval Church of Lamaria (St.Mary), built in 12th century. After visiting the church, walk in the settlement with watch towers and have a picnic-lunch. Overnight in Ushguli.
Up 445 m, down 40 m, trekking 5 hrs.
Day 9: Ushguli – Mestia (50 km)
Drive with 4 WD cars to Mestia. In the afternoon free time in Mestia. In the evening enjoy polyphonic singing. Dinner and overnight in Mestia.
Day 10: Mestia – Zugdidi – Batumi (300 km)
Today you are leaving Svaneti and driving towards Batumi, Black Sea resort. Zugdidi on your way. Visiting Prince Dadiani’s Palace, with its relic of Virgin Mary’s Cloak. Arrival in Batumi in the evening. Night in Batumi.
Day 11: Batumi (60 km)
Walking around Batumi and its outskirts, visiting Gonio Fortress, which is linked with the Legend of Argonauts. The monument to Medea in the center of Batumi is another reminder of the Argonauts. You can visit a beautiful Piazza of Batumi, as well. Later, a tour to Botanical Garden with more than 5000 species of plants from all over the world. Evening stroll along famous city boulevard. Night in Batumi.
Day 12: Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure.
